I ate lunch there about two months ago. I thought my main dish was delicious; my lunch mate thought hers was just so-so. The reverse was true for dessert: mine was blah but not terrible, my friend's was amazing. So I guess you could say it was a wash.

The service was great, but it was pretty empty at the time (it was around 2:30 in the afternoon - not rush time) so I don't know what the service is like when it's busy.

I liked the decor and atmosphere but probably won't be back... you can get better food for the same price elsewhere in Yaletown.Food 3
I went there a few months ago, and was mostly unimpressed with the service and food. The food was mediocre, nothing to tell home about. I've had better at other places for cheaper. I went with a bf at the time and he didn't like how it was a "cafeteria" style, which didn't make for a good intimate dinner. Everything's out in the open from one end to the other.

I can see this being a nice lunch place though, but not for dinner. They have too many servers because many of them are walking back and forth carrying nothing in their hands, and it's really distracting.

One of our main courses was so unpleasant, my bf complained to the server, who then brought over the asian manager. He was really fake and tried to be interested, but he did give us a free dessert so I give them points for that.Food 3
Service 2
Value ($) 3
A few of us went to Gold Fish over the weekend, and it was ok. Food was good, but price was a little high... What to expect though for another Yaletown Usual. Will probably be back, since the waitresses are quite hot :-)Food 5
