South Granville's Ouisi Bistro, restaurant serves Cajun/Louisiana and other dishes.
The Ouisi Bistro is a really cool place along Granville just north of 15th. It has a dark wooden interior filled with jazz pictures and art. It is a great atmosphere.
Their patio off the back is extremely popular and one of the cooler patios in the city. It is not a Yaletown style patio with people watching everywhere but rather it is an intimate setting that adds to the character of the place.
The food here I assume is authentic Cajun, I say this as I have never been to Louisiana. Whether it is or isn’t, it is damn good. I have had many of the dishes here and have yet to be disappointed. The pricing is immensely fair and the lunch menu is great value, plus rarely a crowd at lunch.
The beer list has at least 25 beers on it from all around the world including a half dozen US beers rarely found in Vancouver.
